Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to demolish and dispose of four (4) wooden utility poles and install on (1) steel, three-legged 60 foot, self-supporting tower, and one (1) 50 foot wooden utility pool at Group Port Angeles. Work Includes, but is not limited to the following: (a) demolish and dispose of the two (2) 50 foot wooden utility poles; (b) furnish and install one (1) steel, three-legged, 60 foot, self-supporting tower, including associated footings, ladder, safety rail, and lightning protection system; furnish and install one (1) wooden, 50 foot backstayed utility pole, including associated step bolts, safety rail, and lightning protection system; (d) furnish and install all necessary conduit and cable trays; (e) furnish and install FAA approved obstruction lighting system; (f) demolish and dispose of the 79 foot wooden utility pole; (g) demolish and dispose of the 40 foot wooden utility pole. Estimated range is $25,000 to $100,000. Performance period is 140 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC code is 1731. Small Business size standard is $70 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION BEING SOLICITED. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
