Starkey, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-3718 This is a synopsis for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart with the format 12.6, as supplemented with additional with information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FBICU0001. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a 28 foot x 100 foot mezzanine storage decking. The work will be performed at the FBI Newington Annex located in Stafford, Virginia. The storage decking is to be built and installed in accordance with scope of work of Request for Quotation (RFQ)FBICU0001. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a 100% Small Business Set- Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3441 and the Business Size is 500 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. A walk-thru of the work site will be held on January 9, 1998, at 10:00 a.m., eastern standard time (EST). Contractors planning to attend will need to notify the point of contact -- Sharon K.
