The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking to identify sources for 1 each Westinghouse-designed DMD six pole excitation field circuit breaker and one two pole excitation flashing breaker for Unit G-19 of the Grand Coulee Powerplant, Grand Coulee WA. Upon receipt and installation of the new breakers, a total of three circuit breakers (Units G-19, -20, -21) will be refurbished/remanufactured. Interested offerors must demonstrate that they have access to the original designs/specs and also have access to the specialty machining equipment required to manufacture and refurbish these specific breakers. If no acceptable responses are received as a result of this notice, Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Homewood Sales Corp., the only known manufacturer of the breakers, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Interested sources shall have 30 days from the date this notice is printed to submit a written response to this office. Responses may be faxed to (208) 378-5108 or mailed.
