Services include development of the data architecture and logical model to provide the basis for integration of geospatial, imagery, and imagery intelligence information into a single view for the military and civil defense community. The contractor shall be responsible for attending relevant United States Imagery and Geospatial Information Systems (USIGS) data modeling activities and support the inclusion of requirements into that model, ensuring data modeling needs are understood and incorporated by government organization having internal and external data interfaces with NIMA libraries, assess progress, technical quality, and integration of activities, review of contractor data models for technical quality, completeness and compliance with requirements, advise the government on adequacy, risk and recommend solutions for problems regarding data model transitions, provide independent verification of contractor data related deliveries during all phases of testing and qualification, and provides expert assistance to the program office in its coordination with other agencies responsible for testing compliance with the DOD Joint Technical Architecture, DODII and ensuring interoperability. Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 January 1998 (tentative). This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable SIC Code is 7373 with a business size standard of $18M.
