The Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY is conducting discussions with hospitals and outpatient clinics located within certain communities that comprise its primary services area for the purpose of evaluating and awarding contracts for the mutual use of shared resources to provide its veteran beneficiaries who reside in outlying counties with improved access to community based health care services. Discussions will be limited to hospitals, ambulatory care facilities and/or group practices that conduct primary and preventative health care in the Kingston, New York area. The facility housing the clinic shall have expansion possibilities. Mental Health services will be offered by the VA at the location of the clinic, therefore space shall be made available for that purpose as well as space for monthly visits by VA Optometrist, and possibly other specialties. Solicitation packages will be available o/a 1-5-98.
