The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to competitively procure services to manage and perform the warehousing functions at Cheatham Annex and Yorktown Naval Weapons Station in support of the Fleet Hospital Program Office, The services to be performed include receipt, inspection, repacking, stowage and inventory of medical supplies, Hazardous Material Management, Shelf Life Material management, management of sensitive and controlled material, management and maintenance of Civil Engineering Support Equipment, maintenance and repair of 20-foot ISO containers and maintenance & repair of Government-owned equipment. The contractor will also be responsible for the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) for two 500-bed Combat Zone Hospitals per year. A firm fixed price contract encompassing one twelve month base period beginning on 1 October 1998 and two twelve month option periods is planned. Technical and price proposals will be required.
