W -- PROVIDE OXYGEN SERVICES SOL 629-13-98 DUE 021898 POC Shrylin Lewis (504) 568-0811 ext.3254 Provide for purchase and/or rental, delivery, set-up, patient education, patient instruction, and maintenance or repair of oxygen systems including compressed gas cylinders, liquid oxygen systems, concentrators and related home medical equipment (HME) according to the contract specifications for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, New Orleans, LA., and Biloxi, MS. Contractor will provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor supervision, management, transportation, patient education, safety management, infection control, develop mechanisms and methods to register and respond to complaints, issue approved Patient Rights and Responsibilities, and provide all pertient documentation to perform all tasks identified herein. Contractor must be JCAHO certified at the time bid is submitted. Solicitation will be issued on or about January 12, 1998. Request for documents must be in writing.
