Upgrading of 2.4 KV electrical systems to 12.47 KV, additional 12.47 KV feeders, cable replacement, switches, street lighting, duct bank construction, remote monitoring systems and incidental related work. Part B -- Seaplane Base. Upgrading and replacement of existing 2.4 KV electrical systems with 12.47 KV systems, additional 12.47 KV feeders and modifications to existing 12.47 KV feeders, service switchgear, cable replacement, switches, duct bank construction, remote monitoring systems and incidental related work. There is a base bid and one option. The base bid is all work associated with Part A -- Ault Field. The option is all work associated with Part B -- Seaplane Base. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1731. The related small business size standard is $7 million. The estimated cost of procurement will be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bidders, if a Large Business, shall submit a subcontracting plan in accordance with FAR 52.219-9, SMALL, SMALL DISADVANTAGED AND WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING PLAN (AUG 1996), Alternate I (AUG 1996).
