Football Soccer Field -- This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the construction of a football soccer field at McConnell AFB Kansas. Work includes but is not limited to removal of selected existing obstacle coarse equipment before grading operations. Installation of a network of subsurface drain pipes to improve drying time and playing surfaces. Marking of fields with flush with grade, rubber markers that locate the corners and selected markings. Erection of two soccer goals, two team benches, bleachers, and electronic scoreboard (controlled from existing press box). Installation of lighting to illuminate both fields. Construction of a concrete sidewalk to provide access from the comple's parking lot to the press box and then to the bleacher pads. Provide landscape planting and irrigation. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipated issuance date for this Past Performance Price Tradeoff Solicitation is 9 Jan 98. Tenative bid opening date 10 Feb 98. Performance period will be 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 1629. This soliciation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
