The procurement action originally published in the CBD approximately November 5, 1997 for calcium hypochlorite has been amended as follows: The International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico, U.S. Section, has a requirement for a firm-fixed price requirements contract for calcium hypochlorite oxidizer in 3" tablet and 1" pellet form, having a 65% minimum of active ingredient. The calcium hypochlorite shall be packaged in 50 lb sized polyvinyl chloride (PVC), fiberglass, or high density polyethylene (HDPE) containers having a twist open/twist close lids. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to International Boundary and Water Commission, Nogales Field Office, 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, Arizona 85648. Product samples are no longer required. The firm-fixed price requirements contract is for a basic one year period from the effective date of the contract with four (4) one year options to extend the term of the contract. The term of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. Estimated issuance of RFP 98-08 is January 7, 1998 and responses are to be received by 4:00 p.m. MST on February 6, 1998.
