(301) 227-5822 The Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare
Center (NSWCCD) has an acquisition that is a 100% set-aside for small
business concerns to procure engineering, technical, analytical, and
programmatic support services for various NSWC projects. The proposed
acquisition will provide specialized engineering and fabrication of
hardware and software, via a research and development omnibus delivery
order contract to assist the Navy. The proposed acquisition is for
engineering, technical, analytical, and programmatic support in the
following task areas: -- General Technical Administrative Support --
Development of Weapon Systems -- Support of weapons effects testing --
Engineering of Complex System (ECS) Technology Block -- Surface
Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) -- Submarine and Surface Ship
Survivability -- Detonation Physics -- Nonmetallic Materials Program --
Electrochemistry Program -- Luminescence and Dosimetry Program --
Nuclear Weapons Effects Program —Magnetic Silencing Program --
NSWCCD STILO Program -- Shipping and Storage Container Program --
Supply Contract Tracking System -- Environmental Simulation Program --
Pulse Power System The proposed contract will have a duration of three
years and an option for an additional two years. This requirement is
listed under Standard Industry Code 8711 and annual receipts of $20M is
the maximum allowed for a concern, including its affiliates, to be
considered a small business. Interested small business concerns can
