Ferris (301)227-3602 The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (CDNSWC), intends to procure Office Moving and Package Delivery Services for CDNSWC, 9500 MacArthur Blvd, West Bethesda, MD 20817-5700. The Contractor shall provide office moving and package delivery services to CDNSWC and alternate locations, but within the confines of the local geographical area, and within a 75 mile radius of the Carderock Headquarters site: Annapolis detachment, N.I.K.E. site, and local geographical area. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and transportation equipment. All moving equipment shall be standard commercial-industrial type, of heavy gauge construction, and designed for the mechanized handling/hauling of furniture, equipment, boxes, crates, and other materials as required. The Contractor shall provide an appropriate vehicle, equipment, and driver/laborer to maintain a Package Delivery Service in support of the Receipt Control Branch. The Government anticipates issuance of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for one year with four option years. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued on or about 8 January 1998 and closing approximately 30 days thereafter. A site visit will be conducted prior to the RFP closing date.
