This combined synopsis/solicitation is being modified as follows: Change from: the Government will negotiate with one company; to: open to all sources previously qualified to perform the repairs and testing. Change from quantity ten (10) each to quantity twenty-one (21) each. Twenty rotary joints have been evaluated. The evaluation results include at a maximum, the following faults: Quantity 5 each: replace combination of the following component parts: Flange Choke, Waveguide Bend, Contacts S.G., Ring S.G., Contact Cup, SMA Feed Through Launcher, SMA Adapter JK, Contact Plunger, Leaf Springs, Insulator TNC Female, Conn. Shells Type TN, Outer Bearings, Cable Assemblies, Dynamic Seal and all hardware. Refurbish as required. Quantity 5 each: replace combination of the following component parts: Flange Choke, Contacts S.G. Ring S.G., Contact Cup, SMA Feed Through Launcher, SMA Adapter JK, Contact Plunger, Leaf Springs, Insulators TNC Female, Insulators Top TNC female, Outer bearings, cable assemblies, Dynamic Seal and all hardware. Refurbish as required. Quantity 3 each: replace combination of the following component parts: Flange Choke, Center Conductor Assembly, Contacts SG, Center Conductor End Ch2, Center Conductor Channel #2, Ring SG, Contact Fingers, SMA Feed Through Launches, SMA Adapter JK, Contact Plunger, Matching Ring, Sleeve Choke, Leaf Springs, Insulators TNC Female, Insulators Top TNC Female, Connector Shells Type TNC, Ring SG Assembly, Contacts TNC female, Support beads, Spring Bars, Bearing Spacers Inner and outer, Ball Bearings, Cable Assemblies, Dynamic Seal and all hardware. Refurbish as required. Quantity 7 each: replace combination of the following component parts: Flange Choke, Ring SG, Contact Cup, SMA Feed Through Launcher, SMA Adapter JK, Contact Plunger, Leaf Springs, Contacts SG, Insulators TNC Female, Insulators Top TNC Female, Connector Shells Type TNC, Ring SG Assembly, Support Beads, Bearing Spacers Inner and Outer, Bearings, Cable Assemblies, Seal Dynamic and all hardware. Refurbish as required. The last unit is presently under evaluation. Each repaired rotary joint requires a one (1) year warranty. Each company shall submit definitions and pricing for two (2) Categories of repair for each listing of possible repairs required. Category two (2) prices shall not exceed $10,000.00 per repair. The Government will place the order at the higher category of repair price. Within 60 days after receipt of the units, the contractor shall advise the Government whether the repair is a Category one (1) or (2) type repair. The contractor shall provide a listing of repairs being performed to substantiate the category being billed. The order will then be adjusted if a Category 1 (one) repair is being conducted. Prices will be evaluated as follows: Fifty percent of the repairs at the Category one (1) price and fifty percent at the Category two (2) price. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards for the repair of these items. Inspection and acceptance will be performed by a representative of the DCMC at contractor's facility with shipping terms FOB Destination to NAVSURFWARCENDIV.
