Hill, Contracting Officer, (214) 302-7522 This solicitation is being issued as a sealed bid under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items". VISN 17, VA Medical Systems located at Bonham, Dallas, Kerrville, Marlin, San Antonio, Temple and Waco Texas, has a requirement to award a contract to procure a number of Johnson and Johnson (J&J) products. These products have been evaluated by one or more of the Medical Systems and have been found to meet VISN 17 medical/surgical product quality. In turn, they have been identified for standardization and placed on a Quality Products List (QPL) to be ordered, off an awarded contract, by any one or more of the identified Medical Systems. The solicitation will include the QPL consisting of approximately 180 J&J items with VISN 17 estimated usage. Equal products will not be acceptable for contract award therefore, only those potential offerors able to provide J&J products should need to request a solicitation. Solicitation packages will be issued to all offerors submitting a written request to the Contracting Officer listed in this announcement.
