70 -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE FOR SQL SOFTWARE SOL 52-PAPT-8-00006 DUE 122397 POC Joan Hanicak, 703-305-8069 This is a sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program outlined in FAR 13.6, as well as the supplemental information provided herein. This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). SQL Software Inc., 8500 Leesburg Pike, Suite 405, Vienna, VA 22182 is the developer and only known source who can provide the required renewal of maintenance for the proprietary SQL software products utilized by the Patent and Trademark Office. SQL software maintenance is being procured for a twelve month period for the following products: Item 1: PCMS Dimensions E!, Qty. 125; Item 2: PCMS+ Supernet, Qty. 32; and Item 3: PCW, Qty. 6. This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference solicitation number 52-PAPT-8-00006. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-2, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. A firm fixed price commercial item contract will be awarded utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. A proposal shall be delivered to the Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK 1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Ms. Joan Hanicak, no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on December 23, 1997. The proposal shall also include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 "Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial Items". The award shall include the clauses cited at FAR 52.212-4 "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items" and 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items".
