Joseph Opala, an American Anthropologist, to provide the National Park Service wtih basic reserarch which shows migration of the Gullah people from South Carolina, through Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and in Mexico. Mr. Opala has been researching this area for the past 23 years. Interested parties may submit a letter which specifies their qualifications and abilities or submit porposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
