Pierce (410) 278-0861 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen Acquisition Center, is conducting a market survey concerning Full Food Services of troops at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Information is sought from contractors or other Government agencies as to types of contracts and formats of Statements of Work currently being used (or envisioned for future use) in providing similar serves at other Government installations. Recommendations concerning innovative contracting techniques are also desired. Of key concern is usage of a contract type which best reflects the actual cost of performing these services while encouraging high quality performance, as well as input concerning usage of performance based statements of work. The current Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract, solicited under a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside, is scheduled for complete on 30 April 1999. Services are required for the staffing of three Dining Facilities in order to provide three meals a day to approximate headcounts of approximately 100,000.00 to 130,000 a month for a base year and two option years.
