on behalf of USAID/Rwanda is soliciting the services of a contractor to
manage, program and evaluate the use of proceeds generated from the
monetization of Title II Emergency Commodities. The contractor will be
required to a) identify critical, targeted interventions which address
the short term causes of food insecurity by enhancing local production
capabilities and promote the peaceful and productive integration of
Rwandan returnees; b) coordinate with key donors; c) assist in the
implementation of chosen food security initiatives; and d) build the
financial management capacity of the GOR Ministry of Finance and
Economic Planning. It is anticipated that a time and materials contract
would be awarded and that the initial period of performance would be
for one year with an option to extend the term up to an additional
year. Only fax, e-mail or letter requests will be accepted. These
requests shall be accompanied by four mailing labels, name of contact
person, telephone and fax numbers and an e-mail address if available.
