The proposed contract is for project MDY 96-0189C/D at Moody AFB, GA which consists of but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, etc., to upgrade and repair manhole defects such as: deteriorated frames, walls and bases; point repair of sewer line defects such as defective joints, cracks, and offsets; replacement of a limited number of sewer lines; repair of above ground defects such as damaged cleanouts; and lift station replacement. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with specifications and drawings. Issue date will be on or about 98 Jan 15, opening date will be on or about 98 Feb 16. This will be a firm-fixed price contract with 180 calendar days construction performance time. Magnitude of proposed project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation and specifications will be in a Microsoft Word 6.0 format. The plans will be in an AutoCAD format. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or Bidders Mailing List will be issued from this office. Contractors interested in receiving the solicitation must include in your request the solicitation number and title, your size status, telephone number, fax number, point of contact, and perference of media. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Any amendments will be faxed or mailed on a diskette to all contractors on the Bidders Mailing List. For contractors accessing the solicitation through the Internet, amendments will be posted on the effected solicitation page. For Contractors accessing the solicitation over the Internet, it is their responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any amendments that are issued. A solicitation package will be available for review, free of charge, at the contracting office. The solicitation will be available for downloading and viewing on the internet; reference the provided site address.
