Sydlik Jr. Contract Specialist 410-278-2977 FAX 410-278-2980/2077 The R&D Division, Directorate of Contracting, U.S. Army Garrision, APG, MD is seeking to identify potential sources who can provide a commercial off-the-shelf Anti Fog Coating which meet or exceed the following requirements: The anti-fog coating shall be applied to the inside of a hard coated polycarbonate lens that is mounted in a protective mask attached to a rebreather apparatus. The coating must perform in the environment created by a rebreather apparatus. The coating shall remain fog free for at least four hours. The anti-fog coating shall be non-toxic.It shall not change the optical characteristics of the lens. It shall work with optical corrective lenses. It shall remain effective if applied 40 hours prior to use. It shall be anti-static. It shall be easy to apply, wipe on wipe off excess, no mixing of 2 or more part systems.No solicitation exists; however, all responses recived by the Government by the response deadline will be reviewed to determine what firms in the marketplace currently have this capability.
