Grainey, Contract Specialist, (505)248-6793 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks quotations for the upgrade of radial gates for a water control structure. The work consists but is not limited to approximately 220 cubic yards of dirtwork, forming and placing approximately 10 cubic yards of reinforced concrete, furnish and install a 40' x 6' steel catwalk, furnish and install gear boxes, gear reducers, electrical motors, bearing bushings, raintight electrical enclosure. The solicitation also includes furnish and install a culvert headwall. This structure consists but is not limited to approximately 4 cy of concrete with 470 liner feet of reinforcing and approximately 15 cy of excavation and backfill. All work is located at Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge which is near the town of Jet Oklahoma in Alfalfa county, Oklahoma. The price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Alternative Payment protection surety is required. The SIC is 1629. The solicitation is a small business set aside. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible contractor who offers the lowest price in consideration of price and price related factors. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available by January 15, 1998. It estimated that evaluation and award will be made by February 17, 1998.
