THIS PROJECT IS A COMPETITIVE, SEALED BID 8(A) PROCUREMENT AND IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL 8(A) BUSINESS CONCERNS CURRENTLY BEING SERVICED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, WASHINGTON DISTRICT OFFICE. The scope of work for this project includes the removal and disposal of contaminated soil at the Southeast Federal Center, Block M, Block N, and Block O and includes backfilling excavating areas with clean fill. The scope of work also includes the removal, transportation and disposal of contaminated soil. Contaminates include 3, 3-Dichlorobensidine, Trichloroethene TCE, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), Nickel, LeadBarium Benso(a)pyrene, PCB, Arsenic, Cadium, Mercury and Phenanthrene. Work includes decontamination dam, dewatering, excavating, erosion and sediment control, backfilling with clean fill, compaction of backfill and asphalt paving.
