Clark Springs Branch is a major tributary to Brush Creek which runs into Flint Creek at the Wheeler Reservoir pool at approximately River Mile 308.3. Clark Springs Branch is in Decatur, Alabama, located in Morgan County. The project area extends along Clark Springs Branch from Beltline Highway northeast to Sandlin Road. The successful Contractor will be awarded a contract with a scope of work relating to: 2400 feet of channel widening; construction of a 60-foot long diversion dike (Approximately 50 cubic yards of impervious fill); construction of a drainage structure and installation of a drainage pipe; riprap protection of existing manhole; topsoiling and seeding of the channel, diversion dike, disposal areas, and any other disturbed topsoiling and seeding of the channel, diversion dike, diposal areas, and any other disturbed areas. The principal items of work include: excavation, underground utilities, and structural. This job is IFB No. DACW62-98-B-0002 with a duration of 18 months and is estimated in the $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 range.
