This requirement is for specialty connectors and die crimp sets to be used on proprietary cableing systems installed on Special Operations aircraft. This is a sole source acquisition. The following is a listing of the items and quantity being procured: Die Crimp Set, PN 190318, 27 sets; Connector, PN 190308, 140 ea.; Connector, PN 190309, 220 ea.; Connector, PN 190310, 140 ea.; Connector, PN 190311, 225 ea.; Connector, PN 190312, 140 ea.; Connector, PN 190313, 140 ea. This requirement is for items which the government does not own the technical data necessary to permit full and open competition. Prospective contractors who recognize and can produce the items are encouraged to iidentify themselves to the contracting officer and provide supporting evidence which will permit their participation in future procurements.
