It is the intent of the Electronic Systems Center's (ESC) Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Program Office located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, to provide support to Air Force units in the acquisition of commercial enterprise licenses by delivery order placed against blanket purchase agreements (BPAs). These BPAs will be executed by ESC and are not based on the General Services Administration's (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), however we reserve the right to reexamine this approach and do so in the future. The licenses to be provided include software in support of the DII/Common Operating Environment (COE) as well as a number of other potential applications. An initial listing of licenses is located on the world wide web along with other program information at www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil under local opportunities. Locate the Commercial Enterprise Licensing (CEL) Program and view all available documents. There will be frequent updates so we recommend you register with our program while visiting this site. ESC is looking for the availability of small business, 8(a), and woman-owned vendors that qualify under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 5045, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software, size standard of 500 employees. ESC is looking for responses in the near term. The "Invitation to Enter Into a BPA" can be found at the above internet address and contains the information needed to respond to this announcement.
