The United States Special Operations Command, Special Operations Acquisition Logistics Center, Directorate of Procurement, plans to modify an existing contract, USZA22-95-C-0035 to SCITec Corporation in support of additional analysis and live fire missile testing for the DIRCM program. Additional live fire testing support, engineering support is required at the Aerial Cable Facility. The intended source is SCITec Corporation pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." SCITec is currently providing engineering support services in support of live fire missile testing for the DIRCM and in this regard has developed unique algorithms, software interfaces, and instrumentation. The period of performance will be extended to 31 Dec 1998. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See Note 22. ***** (0356)
