J -- OVERHAUL OF CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS SOL DTCG40-98-Q-50021 DUE 011598 POC Point of Contact -- Kelly Carney, Contract Specialist, (410) 762-6472; Nancy Dean, Contracting Officer, (410) 762-6461 The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the inspection and repair of two (2) each Ingersoll-Dresser Centrigual Pumps, NSN 4320-01-118-5087, Part Number/Serial Number D1211 1 1/2X1X6/Y61187G. Contractor will be required to provide all labor and materials required to perform the following on each Pump: (1) receive; (2) disassemble; (3) inspect; (4) provide a detailed Inspection Report/Repair Estimate; (5) repair; (6) reassemble; (7) test; and (8) preserve and install in a reusable container. All repairs shall be made in accordance with current Ingersoll-Dresser (OEM) specifications and standards. All parts to be furnished and used with the repairs must be genuine Ingersoll-Dresser parts. It is the Government's intention to solicit only Ingersoll-Dresser and/or their authorized repair facilities. Industry has been given the opportunity to provide information regarding their capabilities in Issue Number I-335 dated 1 December 1997. It is intended to award an Unpriced (Not-To-Exceed) Purchase Order. Delivery will depend on the extent of repairs required. Delivery shall be made to the Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. The following Note is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enteprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
