The foam insulation is approximately 8" thick and was installed over an original layer of 4" fiberglass batt insulation. The area of urethane foam removal will be re-insulated with loose, blown in mineral fiber insulation to a thickness providing a minimum of R-38 thermal resistance. The remaining undamaged foam insulation, approximately 13,500 SF, will receive a spray applied thermal barrier of sufficient thickness to provide a fifteen (15) minute fire rating. The project involves additional minor repairs to voids in the existing ceiling vapor barrier. Performance period shall be 45 calendar days. SIC code is 1742.
