43 -- FUEL TRANSFER PUMP (GAS) SOL 1422-L953-RFQ8-2001 DUE 013098 POC Terese Bertini (907)267-1320 FAX # (907)267-1434 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. The solicitation number is 1422-L953-RFQ8-2001 and is being issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation socument and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal lAcquisition Circular FAC 97-1. This is 100 % set-aside for Small Business and the associated standard industrial classification code is 3594, 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for Fuel Transfer Pumps (for petroleum gas), self-priming, U.L. listed, 2" suction and discharge, protable, gasoline drive, 20' grounging cable with clamp, under 80 pounds. The pumps we are looking for a re similar to a Marlow 2AM32P or a Gorman Rupp 82D18X. The required pumps shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination. Delivery shall be made between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Delivery shall be made to the following location; Bureau of Land Management -- Alaska Fire Service Whse. Building 1544 Gaffney Road, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, with the following addenda; per FAR 12.603(b) the SF1449 is not used. Paragraph (h) multiple award -- Delet entire paragraph and substitute; Award. Offers will be received on an all or none basis Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror based upon the unit priced quoted that meet the requierments. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the FAR prpovision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, with the following addenda; FAR clauses cited in the Clause; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36 Affirmitive Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.225-3, Buy American Act-Supplies. Request for Quotations must be received on or before close of business January 30,1998. All RFQ's not sent through the US Mail will be considered hand carried direct delivered. Hand carried RFQ's must be delivered to the Procurment Office located at the Bureau of Land Management, 6881 Abbott Loop Road, Anchorage, Alaska, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with teh request for quote number marked on the outside of the packet.
