saanders@tva.gov. The Tennessee Valley Authority is requesting
proposals for information planning purposes only for a fully integrated
and automated system for Contractor Check In at Nuclear plants. The
system must conform to all appropriate NRC requirements and be able to
automatically interface with the NEI Personnel Access Data System. It
must include all the necessary human resource, security, training,
medical and radiological functions and be real-time infromation. The
system must be available 7 X 24, be year 2000 compliant, support
multiple sites, provide historical information, have one data source,
provide ad-hoc reporting, and have on-line documentation. This is NOT
a Request for Proposal and no award will be made as a result of this
Request for Information (RFI). The results of this RFI may or may not
result in a RFP. The vendor should briefly describe why their solution
would be superior to to others received by TVA. Vendors shall provide
written proposals detailing the offeror's ability to meet the software
requirements. Vendors shall submit any supporting documentation to
validate your claim. The vendor is encouraged to provide alternate and
creative proposals in gathering information during this planning
stage. Each proposal shall include pricing for budget planning
purposes. In addition, each vendor shall provide detailed information
on company, years experience, similar contracts, and financial reports.
