quantity contract for essential repair of ACTS repairable end items.
Work shall be accomplished IAW Appendix C and Statement of Objectives
(SOO) and Technical Requirements. Item 0001 Receiver, Transmitter, NSN:
5805-01-247-6004TA, P/N: 223929-1, 2 each. Item 0002 Frequency
Modulator, NSN: 5895-01-193-3191TA, P/N: A-160860-1, 2 each. Item 0003
Module, NSN: 5895-01-193-3216TA, P/N: A-160380-1, 1 each. Item 0004
Antenna, NSN: 5985-01-419-0141TA, P/N: 46610119-1, 1 each. Item 0005
Circuit Card Assembly, NSN: 5998-01-060-2420TA, P/N: 8155A, 2 each.
Item 0006 Pre Amplifier Module Assy, NSN: 5998-01-216-0766TA, P/N:
195480- 1, 6 each. Plus 9 additional items. This proposed procurement
is under a 100 percent small business set aside, the size standard for
which is $5.0 million. To include all required reports and data. The
contractor shall provide all labor and other parts/materials and
equipment to accomplish this effort. Delivery: 45 days after receipt of
reparableend item. Destn: Hill AFB UT 84056 The approximate
issue/response date will be 12 Jan 98. The anticipated award date will
be 03 Feb 98. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No
telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly
from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited
may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered.
Request for copies of solicitations must reference the entire
solicitation number, including purchasing office identification number.
To expedite your request, limit the number of individual solicitation
numbers requested per letter to not more than 10. Don't request
information on this requirement until after the issue date. An
Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or
potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this
acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the
authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to
communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and
recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the
source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested
