Dockside Vessel Maintenance including, but not limited to, the
following Minimum Items: 1)Steering Motor Overhaul. 2) Reconfigure CIWS
Overboard Discharge. 3) Renew Pipe Lagging in Galley. 4) Clean
Shipboard Ventilation System. 5) Overhaul Distilling Plant Pumps and
Motors. 6) Renew Halon Discharge Piping. 7) Provide and Install Access
Plates for APC Systems. 8)Overhaul Steering Gear. 9) Overhaul Anchors
and Anchor Chains. 10) Overhaul and Weight Test Shipboard Davit Crane
(Allied Marine Crane-Model Davit 500). 11) Upgrade and Overhaul MSB
Davits. 12) Static Pull-Test Pad Eyes. 13) Preserve Masts. 14) Renew
Electrical Safety Deck Covering. 15) Preserve Sewage and Grey Water
Collection and Holding Tank(s). 16) Renew Insulation and Deck in Fan
Space (2-160-1Q). 17) Replace Storage Racks in Flammable Stores
(3-22-0-K). 18) Provide Temporary Logistics. Indefinite Items include:
1) Welding Repairs. 2)Ultrasonic Testing. 3) Provide Additional
Temporary Logistics. Vessel's homeport is Charleston, SC. Vessel length
is 378 Foot High Endurance Cutter. Vessel availability schedule is 23
March 1998 for 49 days. The place of performance for this vessel is its
home pier in Charleston SC. There will be a non refundable charge of
$100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order
payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other
referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street,
Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Funds are available for this procurement. The
proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and Specifications will be
issued on or after 21 January 1998. All responsible sources may submit
a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. This
