The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide sleeping rooms, meeting space and meals for AmeriCorps VISTA Early Service Training for February 18, 19, 20, 1998; May 20, 21, 22, 1998; and August 18, 19, 20, 1998. On February 18, May 20 and August 18, the following will be required: Beginning at 11:00 AM, a registration area in the main lobby of the facility with 5 large tables; dinner in the main dining area (served at 6:30pm) for 200; 100 sleeping rooms (doubles). Beginning at 2:00 pm, one large meeting room for 200 (classroom style); Beginning February 19-20, May 21-22 and August 19-20, Six (6) break-out rooms required (to accommodate 35 at round tables. On February 20, May 22 and August 20 at 11:30 am, one large room is required to accommodate 200 persons (classroom style). Dinner to be served in the main dining area for 200 on 2/18-19, 5/20-21, and 8/18-19. On 2/19-20, 5/21-22 and 8/19-20, Breakfast and Lunch will be served in the main dinning area. (25% of all meals are estimated be kosher or vegetarian.) Two (2) coffee breaks served on 2/19, 5/21 and 8/19. (AM & PM) The AM break shall consist of coffee, tea and punch; the PM break of punch and light snacks. A/V equipment to consist of one (1) telephone at the registration desk for 2/18-20, 5/20-22, and 8/18-20: one (1) microphone (wired) in the main meeting room; one (1) microphone and two flip charts in each of the six (6) breakout rooms all week. A room with video/movie showing capability and able to seat 250 persons is required for the first and second evenings each set of dates. Facility must meet and comply with American disabilities Act (ADA) Regulations. All meeting rooms and dining facilities must be smoke free. Price quotes due at the above office NLT January 16, 1998.
