The objective of this action is to identify interested parties, evaluate options and approaches, and obtain estimated lease costs. Hanger facilities would support KC-135 paint/strip and maintenance programs. The Air Force is considering four potential options: (1) contractor build and Air Force lease back space to perform organic operations or, (2) contractor build and operate facility and perform the KC-135 maintenance or, (3) contractor build and Air Force lease required space for organic operations and contractor utilize remaining space for commercial activities or, (4) contractor build and perform KC-135 maintenance and lease remaining space to AF for other organic operations. Any interested parties may request a Statement of Need package from the Logistic Center's real estate lease office.
