This assembly is based on a purchase description: WL/MLS-OL PD# 74-322, Revision B and is intended to ensure that x-ray warning lights are connected before permitting the x-ray tube-head to be energized. The purchase description will accompany the solicitation. NSN: 6635-00-292-7637 This requirement may be awarded as either a Fixed Quantity Contract with a quantity of 19 or as a Requirements Contract based on a BEQ of 78. The final determination as to the type of contract will be made prior to issuance of the solicitation and will be stated on the solicitation. Delivery: for a fixed quantity contract: 31 July 98; for a requirements type contract: 5 months ARO There is a requirement for two (2) First Article samples with this procurement which will be part of the production quantity. Testing will be conducted by the government. The First Articles must meet the performance characteristics specified in the above referenced purchase description. The First Article delivery is due within 90 days of contract award. Requests for the solicitation need to be received by this office NLT close of business on the response date.
