F -- WILDLIFE SURVEYS (010) -- SISKIYOU NATIONAL FOREST, ROGUE RIVER NATIONAL FOREST, AND BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT SOL R6-11-98-13N DUE 021398 POC Contracting Officer, Clyde Hooper, 541/471-6600 The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supervision, materials, equipment (except Government-furnished property), and facilities to conduct wildlife field surveys for Marbled Murrelets, Northern Spotted Owls, Great Gray Owls, and Red Tree Voles. General locations of survey sites are in Southwestern Oregon and Northern California on the Siskiyou National Forest's Chetco, Galice, Gold Beach, Illinois Valley, and Powers Ranger Districts; the Rogue River National Forest's Applegate, Butte Falls, and Prospect Ranger Districts; and the Bureau of Land Management's Ashland, Grants Pass, and Glendale Resource Areas. All work shall be performed as directed in the appropriate Protocal. Data shall be collected on detections, observed behavior, and nesting activities. Incidental observations of other wildlife species shall be noted on Wildlife Observation Forms. All field work shall be completed between 030198 and 090198. Project Leaders and Surveyors must meet minimum qualification requirements as stated in the Request for Proposals. Award will be made by total individual item.
