Sources Sought: The Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), MMS Project Office, I2WD at Fort Monmouth are seeking potential sources for services for depot level repair of the Vaisala components of the Meteorological Measuring Set (MMS) AN/TMQ-41. These components include AN/UMQ-16, Radiosonde Receiving Set, AN/UMQ-16 (MARWIN Processor) and Radiotheodolite Antenna AS-4335/TMQ-41. The MMS consists of a meteorological processor, signal data converter (for multi-sonde capability), lightweight computer unit, printer, and radiotheodolite integrated into a lightweight multipurpose shelter. The radiotheodolite is an automatic tracking antenna for 1680 MHz band radiosondes. The MARWIN receives and processes data from radiosondes. These items are produced by Vaisala, Inc., Woburn, MA. The Government possesses no repair documentation on these items. This is a market survey requesting information only. If there is any resultant solicitation, it will be publicized in accordance with FAR Part 5. Interested sources should reply in writing and in enough detail to show ability to perform the repair, past experience with the above listed items (identify contract number and performance status), present capabilities and facilities. Information provided should be detailed enough to allow Government technical personnel to determine company technical capabilities and industrial capacity.
