This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Dayton-Granger, Inc. 3299 SW 9th Ave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 50 each of a Dual Frequency (VHF/L Band) Blade Antenna for the F-18 p/n LVF10-612-1 brand name Dayton-Granger. The government intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Dayton Granger for it is the only COTS antenna that meets the government requirements. The antenna purchased must be a single connector, dual frequency blade capable of fitting in the current footprint of the Tactical Aircrew Combat Training System blade antenna and be capable of being certified for flight on the F-18. Delivery is required FOB Destination within 45 days after contract award to the following two locations; 2 each shipped to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Bldg. 665, 47179 Vaughn Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1614 and 48 each shipped to Commanding Officer, Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, NAS North Island, Building 1479, Code 321, San Diego, CA 92135-7062. The REQUEST FOR QUOTE will be ISSUED on 1/13/98 and a closing date will be established at that time (approx. 1/23/98).
