99 -- MMC DBCS STACKER MODIFICATION KITS SOL KWOOLBRIGHT-97-0001 POC Contact Kenny Woolbright, Purchasing Specialist, 703/280-7891 and Mary Ann Smith, Contracting Officer 703/280-7806 The U.S. Postal Service requires the manufacture, packaging and delivery of 6300 MMC DBCS Stacker Modification Kits, 150 Installation Tool Kits, 225 Site Spaces Kits and 1 Depot Spares Kit. These modification kits will reduce gate jams, improve stacking quality and increase throughput on the existing 614 MMC DBCSs (Model 925). These kits contain approximately 19 small mechanical items such as ball bearings, springs and fabricated parts from steel, aluminum, plastic and rubber parts. Solicitation will be issued on or about January 29, 1998, with proposals due on or about March 2, 1998. All interested parties must sign a non-disclosure form prior to receipt of a solicitation.
