This effort will require the selected contractor to reclaim and replace gold on an existing hollow copper cylinder. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The anticipated release date of RFQ 663-64651-0000/922 is on or about 12/30/97 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 1/19/98.
