A -- DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED MUNITIONS EFFECTS ASSESSMENT (IMEA)-MODIFICATION POC Tanya Stasiuk, Negotiator, (703) 325-5029, Scott G. The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) intends to award a sole source modification to contract DNA001-95-C-0193 to Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) to modify and upgrade Integrated Munitions Effects Assessment (IMEA) software. ARA will convert the IMEA software from the current WINDOWS 3.1 to WINDOWS 95, upgrade the IMEA code to add additional functionality required by the Counterproliferation (CP) Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD), and update existing IMEA algorithms to "fix" outstanding major "software trouble reports." Since ARA is the only contractor with the technical expertise, capabilities, current involvement, and breadth of experience to meet the objectives of this effort and since the tasks to be executed by this modification are intimately related to the original contract, ARA is singularly qualified to perform the effort. Contractor personnel will need a DoD security level of SECRET. Contemplatedperiod of performance is ten (10) months.
