This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-3FA773. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The standard industrial classification code is 3731 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: (1) 3 each Starboard Lube Oil Centrifugal Purification System, Keith Dixon Systems Part No. 1920-684-83-1297 or Equivalent. (2) 3 each Port Centrifugal Lube Oil Purification System, Keith Dixon Systems Part No. 1920-684-83-1297 or Equivalent. Purifier Assemblies must include Centrifugal Purifier, Anti-Vibration Mounts, Auxiliary Supply Pump with 3 HP Motor, Mounting Hardware, Flex Hoses, Motor Controllers, Pump/motor Adaptor, Motor Controllers, Suction Strainer, Spare Parts Kit and Cleaning Kit. Contractor must provide one (1) visit to the vessel to instruct crew on installation and service of units. Contractor must also provide shipping of the assemblies to the vessel USCGC Mackinaw (WAGB-83), 632 Coast Guard Dr., Cheboygan, MI 49721. The requirements are to be shipped to reach the vessel on/before 1/20/98.
