Offeror shall provide the facility, equipment, supervision, and personnel to receive, handle, sort, stage, hold, account for and ship Government owned perishable fresh fruit and vegetable products to customers located in the Los Angeles mission area. The offeror must be capable of complying with the Governments service requirements and be familiar with delivery & distribution techniques. The offeror shall provide office space for on-site Government personnel and the necessary security and custodial services for areas occupied by PBO personnel & product. The Base year contract will run from 01 October 98 thru 30 September 99. Possible contract renewal for (3) three one year option periods will be included in the solicitation. Small and Large Business concerns may offer (unrestricted acquisition). Best Value/Source Selection methodology will be used in the selection of awardee.
