Offeror shall provide the facility, equipment, supervision, and personnel to receive, handle, sort, stage, hold, account for and ship Government owned perishable fresh fruit and vegetable products to customers located in the San Diego, Ca. mission area. The offeror must be capable of complying with the Governments services requirements and be familiar with delivery and distribution techniques. The offeror shall provide office space for on-site Government personnel and the necessary security and custodial services for areas occuplied by government personnel and associated product. The base year contract will run from 01 October 98 thru 30 September 99. Possible contract renewal for (2) two -- one year option periods will be included in the solicitation. This acquisiton will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Best Value/Source Selection procurement methodology will be used in the selection of awardee.
