The Volpe Center has a requirement to make multiple awards of indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contracts to provide services related to Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance Systems (CNS). This solicitation is for the re-procurement of the CNS services currently provided under the Multiple Contractor Resource Base, commonly known as the OMNI contracts. Task Orders may include requirements in some or all of the following areas: 1) CNS Strategic Planning and System Engineering ; 2) Traffic Management and Control Systems; 3) Navigation Systems; 4) Surveillance Systems; 5) Guidance and Control Systems; 6)Communication Systems; and 7) Automation and Display Systems. This is not a small business set-aside; however, the Volpe Center, given acceptable proposals, intends to make at least one award to a small business and at least one award to small disadvantaged business. The SIC Code for this procurement is 7379. The Volpe Center uses electronic commerce to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP or amendments will not be issued. These documents will be available on a WWW server which may be accessed using Web browsers.
