16 -- REPLACEMENT OF HYDRAULIC UTILITY PUMP FOR THE H-46 SERIES HELICOPTER POC Brian Neiheisel, Phone (301) 575-8949 The Naval Air Systems Commend intends to contract on a sole source basis with Boeing Defense and Space Group, Helicopters Division, Philadelphia, PA, for the engineering, qualification, and installation of form/fit/function replacement hydraulic utility pumps and associated work for the H-46 series helicopter. Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the H-46 series helicopter, and the only firm that possess the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort within the limited time constraints of the Navy.
