NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote RFQ5-67093-919 for the purchase of a digital CCD Camera System which includes: thermoelectrically cooled camera head model S300:1600 1536x1024 pixel array with 9 micron square pixel size. Scientific grade CCD. Kodak KAF 1600 chip, class 1 (S3-KAF1600 C1-X) CCD screened and tested (full test report-provided). Camera control -- 12-bit pixel data at 500,000 pixels/sec (S3-12/500) F-mount with 1.375" (35MM) shutter, flat window & (S3-FMNST-SHUT); (2) Liquid Circulation Unit S3-LCU1; (3) HCK for windows95 (16bit) with AIA/PCI interface card (S3-HCK-WIN3); (4) V image processing software (V); and (5) Professional programmer's kit for all compliers that support windows DLLS (PPK-PVCAM-WIN). This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The SIC Code is 3861.
