This is a notice of Request for Quotation (RFQ) number
DTCG80-98-Q-3FA776. The standard industrial classification code is 3731
and the size standard is 1000. Written quotation will be required. The
RFQ will be issued on or about 06 January 1998 with attached
specifications and MLCA Standard Spec. 314100194.STD, Coast Guard Tech
Pub. 2838 Section 583. Anticipated award date is on or about 20
January 1998. Contractor to Provide all labor, material, equipment,
components, and competence to overhaul and weight test CGC SPENCER's
MSB Boat Davit. Contractor will also provide inspection findings and
fully troubleshoot the aft arm of the motor surf boat (MSB) davit for
torquing problems. The place of performance will be at USCG SPENCER
(WMEC-905), 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109. Performance Period
is 09 March thru 01 April 1998. All referenced documents are availible

proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 06 January 1998. All responsible sources may submit
a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
