Requirement for cold storage and distribution services for shipments of produce and other perishable subsistence items for the Defense Personnel Support Center (DPSC) in Japan. Service shall encompass drayage of loaded reefer containers from a designated port in Japan to a bonded cold storage facility, agricultural and customs clearance, sorting and stuffing service, and delivery to consignees' door. Anticipated release date of solicitation is 20 Jan 1998 with offers anticipated to be due on 20 Feb 1998. Contract duration is expected to be one year with a one year option period.
