Code 233BK (732)323-2065 NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to procure a
commercial Off-the-Shelf, single self-contained automated vibration
test instrument to replace the computer indicator and power supply
(CIPS) of the vibration analysis test set (VATS). The commercial
automated vibration test equipment shall use all of the existing vats
ancillaries, i.e. must interface with all current vats equipment, must
provide data transfer, data storage, printing capability and visual
display. All equipment must be fully supportable and must use software
that provides the same capability as the existing software and be
compatible with all the existing VATS procedures and aircraft specific
requirements. Software applications and displays must be transparent
to the operator in that VATS operators should be able to operate the
replacement test instrument just as they operate VATS today. The
initial quantity is 27 each with provisions to procure an additional
325 units over a period of 4 to 5 years. The resultant contract will be
a firm fixed priceindefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type
contract. The procurement is set-aside for small business. See notes 1,
